Naomi Ruth Lykins, age 82 of Fairborn, passed away Thursday July 1, 2010.  She was born April 17, 1928 in Glen White, WV, the daughter of the late Roma Kiser and Ica Margaret (Schartiger) Parsons.  She was employed as an accounts clerk with the Army Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES), retiring in 1984.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Lykins; a brother, Edsel; a sister, Vioma; and daughter-in-law, Allison (Lilly) Lykins.  She is survived by three sons, Sam Lykins, Jr. and wife Mary of Fairborn, Dan Lykins and wife Bonnie of Oregon, Michael Lykins and wife Mary of Enon; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Roma Parsons and wife Barbara of Fairborn; as well as nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday July 6, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn.  A graveside service will be held on Wednesday July 7, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. in the Fairfield Cemetery, 730 Clover St., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating.  Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Fairborn Greene County Library.
