Denver B. Freeman, age 88 of Fairborn, passed away Saturday June 19, 2010 in the Brookhaven Nursing and Care Center. He was born February 15, 1922 in Peebles, Ohio, the son of the late Robert and Myrtle (Liston) Freeman. Denver was employed for 28 years at NCR and for several years at Dayton Commercial Fabrication and United Health Care. His hobbies included playing piano and working in his yard. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, the former Donna Jean Conley; and three brothers, Howard, Elbert, and Clyde. He is survived by his sons, Mark L. Freeman, Kerry D. Freeman and wife Deborah; and grandsons, Zach and Ethan. The family would like to thank the staff at Brookhaven Nursing and Care Center for their compassionate and loving care. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 23, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Fairfield Cemetery. “We are forever grateful for the ultimate gift of life. Thank you Dad.”
