Christine B. Proulx, age 88 of Fairborn, passed away Monday May 31, 2010. She was born January 25, 1922 in Lawton, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late George and Dora (Blunt) Lutz. Christine was active in the Cameron University Alumni Association and was a strong supporter of Feed the Children. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Lionel A. Proulx in 2001; a sister, Barbara (Lutz) Smith; and a brother, George Lutz. She is survived by a daughter, Dee Ann (Proulx) Wintringham of Grandview, OH; two grandchildren, Joshua D. Wintringham of Los Angeles, CA, Rachel E. Wintringham-Isbell and husband Allen Isbell of Charlestown, IN; two great-grandsons, Isaak L. Wintringham, Talen L. Isbell; a brother, Donald Lutz and wife Marjorie of Lawton, OK; four nieces, Melissa Lutz, Deborah (Lutz) Price, Marilyn (Smith) VanHouten, Kathy (Smith) MacKendra; a nephew, Dr. James Lutz; and three great-nephews, John Goonen, Michael MacKendra, and Kyle MacKendra. The family will receive friends on Friday June 4, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday June 5, 2010 at 11:00 A.M., Rev. Vernon Hurles officiating. Interment will follow in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
