Alice Oraliene Kosier

Alice Oraliene Kosier, age 87 of Fairborn, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday July 17, 2019.  She was born March 22, 1932 in Breathitt County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late W. Oral and Alice Elizabeth (VanCleave) Drew.  A strong woman of faith, Alice was a longtime member of Huber Heights Church of God..  She loved her family dearly and was known as Mom, Mamaw Allie, Grandma, Aunt Alice, as well as Nanny to several of her younger neighbors.  Alice’s hobbies included crocheting, baking wedding cakes, and spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Richard C. “Dick” Kosier; a sister, Naomi Ruth Sharpe; and a brother, Walter Duane Drew.  Survivors include two daughters, Karen Martindill of Fairborn, Kathy (Ken) Lucas of Fairborn; two granddaughters, Jessica (Matt) Lucas-Johnson, Jackelyn Lucas; four great-grandchildren, Andrew Dylan, Delaney, Sophia, Matthew; two brothers, Doral Dean (Nadine) Drew, Dale (Betty) Drew; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.  The family will receive friends on Sunday July 21, 2019 from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, where a Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday July 22, 2019 at 10:30 A.M., Chaplain Steven Fox and Pastor Dwight Bruggeman officiating.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.  Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Huber Heights Church of God.
