Donald “Steve” Trimble, age 54 of Fairborn, passed away Saturday May 11, 2019. He was born July 20, 1964 in Xenia, the son of Donald and Wilma (Cantrell) Trimble. Steve proudly served his country in the US Army as an Airborne Ranger during Desert Storm and had been employed as a carpenter with B&N Construction. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald in 2015. Survivors include a son, S. Richard Trimble; grandson, Warrick Lemaster; his mother, Wilma; sister, Stephanie Luman; brother, Jeffrey Trimble (Carrie Marcum); former spouse, Lisa Trimble; niece, Morgann Trimble; nephews, Jimi Dryden, Tyler and Ethan Luman; as well as other extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 15, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Burial with military honors will follow at Dayton National Cemetery. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Dayton VA Medical Center.
