Kenny R. Childers

Kenny R. Childers, age 60 of Fairborn passed away Saturday September 14, 2019.  He was born October 2, 1958 in Dayton, the son of the late Earl and Beneada (Short) Childers.  Kenny enjoyed riding his motorcycle, basketball, camping, and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Coonie and Arlie. He is survived by three children, Shelly (Kumar) Persad, Nicole Childers, Kevin Childers; fiancé and her son, Rickie and Forest; two sisters, Elena Lemke, Ardena (Glen) Kegley, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and many friends.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday September 17, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Road, Fairborn, Glen Kegley officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Dayton.
