Lawrence E. "Larry" Palmer

Lawrence E. “Larry” Palmer, age 73 of Fairborn, passed away December 26, 2019.  He was born September 12, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Dr. Leo and Caroline Ann (Karem) Palmer.  Larry graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green and was a member of the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity.  He was a longtime volunteer as an EMT in Georgia; and retired from Infocision.  Larry enjoyed Broadway musicals.  He is survived by his wife, Christine Johnson; daughter, Julie (Kevin) Hill; grandson, Carson Hill; sister, Patricia “Pat” Palmer (Robert White); brother, Steven Palmer; nephew, Colton (Stephanie) Palmer; four great-nephews; beloved dogs, Megan, Sophie; and cat, Cali.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday January 2, 2020 at 4:00 P.M. at the Abiding Christ Lutheran Church, 326 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastors Craig Fourman and June Fryman officiating.  Private burial will be held by the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Abiding Christ Lutheran Church or Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
