Amber R. Gibbs, age 45 of Fairborn passed away July 8, 2026 with her loving family by her side. She was born April 24, 1981 in Dayton, the daughter of Danny “Duke” Gibbs and Sharon McAllister. Amber enjoyed swimming and spending time with her friends. Growing up, cats became a special part of her life, she was caring and loved them fiercely. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ruth Ann and Emerich Keys, Ezzie and Gertrude Gibbs; aunts and uncles, Charles, Timmy, Mike, Robert, Donny, and Teresa Gibbs, Tommy Baumgardner; cousin, Amy Baumgardner; nephew, Cole Saintonge; step-mother, Martha Garner; step-brother, Steven Garner. Amber is survived by her parents; siblings, Kylee Baumgardner, Monica Gibbs; Danny (Crystal) Gibbs; aunts and uncles, Barbara Slone, Gary (Paula) Baumgardner, Bunny Gibbs; niece and nephew, Dani Gibbs and Gage Gibbs; cousins, Jamie Slone, Jimmy Slone, Emily Baumgardner, Dylan Baumgardner, T.C. Baumgardner, Joshlyn Baumgardner, JoJo Baumgardner, Josh Baumgardner, McKenzie Baumgardner, Gonzalez Baumgardner, second cousins, Kaitlyn Wilson, Kelsey Jones; third cousins, Nolan, Valen Pearl; boyfriend of 14 years, Parnell Roberts; as well as extended family. A memorial service will be held on Thursday July 16, 2026 at 6:00 pm at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Lowell Lay officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Blues Mews.
