Armenita Frances “Fran” Condon, aged 79, of Fairborn, OH, passed away, Saturday, January 17, 2026. She was born on October 18, 1946, in Maysville, KY, the daughter of the late James E. and Mary Thelma (Lawrence) Reeves.
Fran was a kind-hearted, loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was as gorgeous inside as she was out. Her grace, style, and bright smile would draw looks; but it was her quick wit and contagious laughter that would make her stand out from the crowd. Not one to be trifled with, Fran would be her children’s—as well as her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and all their friends—staunchest defender, their most loyal ally, and, when necessary, their reality check. She kept the bar high, had faith in us to do the right thing, but would always have our backs during the tough times. And she was adored, by all of us, everyone.
But there is no one, absolutely no one, that loved and adored Fran like her husband, Jim. They met and married young. Two small town kids who fell madly in love and stayed that way the entire 60 years they were together. They raised their four daughters in a home filled with love, laughter, and joy. When the grandchildren came along, Fran helped her daughters with whatever they needed, whenever they needed it. She loved hosting birthday parties, holiday parties, and celebrations. Jim always made sure she always had whatever she needed, or wanted, because keeping her happy is what made him happy, and she loved him more with every passing year. They walked through this life side-by-side, holding on to each other’s hands, always enjoying life together. We were blessed to be a part of their story.
In addition to her parents, Fran is preceded in death by her two sisters, Wilma Weaver, Wanda Hotze; four brothers, Larry Reeves, Everett Reeves, Joe Reeves, Lester D. Reeves. She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, James J. “Jim” Condon; four daughters, Regina (Robert) Holmes, Teresa Blair, Christina (Jason) Leinheiser, Kelly Lowery; eleven grandchildren, James and Kara Fletcher, Nick and Joseph Holmes, Callie Barnes and Gavin Blair, Joshua and Matthew Leinheiser, Jarrod (Imee), Kaleb, Rylee Lowery; two great-grandchildren, Henry and Guinevere Barnes; Other survivors include one brother, Paul A. Reeves of Ripley, Ohio; sisters, Betty Haynes of Dawsonville, Georgia, Mae Reeves of Indianapolis, Indiana, and extended family and friends.
