Carl Allen Perry, a beloved husband, father, and dedicated member of the community, passed away on May 29, 2025, at Miami Valley Hospital. Born on March 28, 1946 to the late James G. and Mildred M. (Hammonds) Perry, Carl was a lifelong resident of Fairborn, where he made lasting contributions to both his family and his community.

Carl graduated from Fairborn High School in 1964, where he first met the love of his life, Judie (Williams) Perry. They shared an enduring partnership that would have celebrated 60 years of marriage on August 12 of this year. Their bond was a testament to the love and commitment they held for one another, providing a strong foundation for a family that thrives on devotion and support.

His career with the City of Fairborn in the Water Department was marked by nearly 30 years of service. Carl exemplified dedication and loyalty, earning the respect of his colleagues and community members alike. His service extended beyond his professional life; he proudly served in the US Army from 1966 to 1968, embodying the values of duty and patriotism.

Carl was admired not only for his work ethic but also for his warm and engaging personality. The majority of his time over the last two years was spent at Wright Nursing and Rehab, where he was a constant source of love and support for Judie, who resides there. Known to everyone who crossed his path, he was a loving father and husband, deeply cherished by family and friends alike. Those who knew him often remarked on how everyone who encountered Carl came to love him for his kindness and sincerity.

A devoted Christian, Carl was an active member of Berean Baptist Temple in Fairborn and previously served as a youth leader at Enterprise Baptist for many years. His faith was a guiding force in his life, and he inspired many with his unwavering commitment to his beliefs.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Carl A., Jr. in 2017; three brothers, Gene, J.B., and Clyde Perry; and a sister, Dorothy Barker Eldridge. Survivors include his loving wife, Judie; a son, Russ Perry of Fairborn; three grandchildren, Cody, Tyler, and Garrett; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Lincoln; a sister, Kathy Adams of Fairborn; four step-grandchildren, Chevy, Colt, Montana, and Kia; nine step-great grandchildren, Haley, Cohen, Bradyn, Addison, Naomi, Harlyn, Allen, and Lance Coates, and T.G. Culp; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Carl leaves behind a legacy of love and integrity that will continue to resonate with all who knew him. His family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on June 4, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Lonnie Bocook. Both events will take place at Belton Stroup Funeral Home, located at 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, OH 45324. Entombment with military honors will follow at the Byron Cemetery Mausoleum. .

As we remember Carl Allen Perry, we celebrate a life marked by love, gratitude, and an enduring commitment to family and faith. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
