Carol Lynne Duffy, aged 70, passed away, Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Fairborn, OH. She was born November 23, 1955, in Peru, IN, the daughter of the late Kenneth West and Wilhemina Josephine (Branecky) McNeely.
Carol spent many years working as a MedTech, contributing her skills and care to local hospitals and with CompuNet Clinical Laboratories. Her commitment to her profession was steadfast, and she took great pride in the role she played in supporting patient care through medical technology.

Outside of her professional and spiritual commitments, Carol was a woman of many passions. She loved to spend her free time cooking, baking, gardening, knitting, and sewing. These hobbies were not just pastimes but ways she expressed her creativity and cared for those around her. Above all, Carol cherished her family deeply. Carol answered to “mom” and “nana” by those closest to her, names that reflected the special place she held in their hearts. She was proud of her daughter and granddaughters. In addition, she was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Carol is survived by an only daughter, Caitlin (Bobby) Porter; three granddaughters, Ada Lynne, Claire Ann, Lucy Josephine; three siblings, Christy (Michael) Lorton, Charles (Debbie) McNeely, Karen (Joe) Beekman; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and devoted friends.
