Carolyn F. Brooks

Carolyn F. Brooks, age 78 of Brooksville, Florida passed away November 19, 2024.  She was born May 5, 1946 in Tampa, Florida, the daughter of the late Paul and Hazel (Chambers) Cox.  Carolyn enjoyed sewing, crossword puzzles and reading.  She was an avid Tampa Bay Ray’s fan.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; and brother, Melvin Cox.  Carolyn is survived by two children, Patrice (Matthew) Bradarich; Dennis (Tracy) Brooks; four grandchildren Lauren, Aaron, Ryan, Jillian; sister, Sylvia Thornhill; eight great-grandchildren, Landen, Hailey, Paisley, Bentley, Daxton, Beckett, Brycen, Stetson; brother, Raymer Cox; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.  A private service will be held by the family.
