David R. Blankenship

David Ray Blankenship, age 64 of Fairborn, passed away Saturday February 2, 2019.  He was born August 1, 1954 in Dayton, the son of the late Leonard and Stella Blankenship.  David served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, serving in Stuttgart Germany.  He was a caregiver to his parents with long term illnesses. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Blankenship.  David is survived by his wife Helen (Samara) Blankenship; three beloved stepdaughters, Crystal Gibson, Genesis Moniaci, Hannah Gibson; grandchildren, Carter, Ava; loving mother-in-law, Mary Yaeko Coyne; sister, Rhonda Binzer; brother, Ronald Blankenship; sisters-in-law, Patty, Kathy, Mary Frances; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.  Private services will be held by the family.
