Diane R. Mercer

Diane R. Mercer, born on October 10, 1978, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2025. Diane was known for her beauty, inside and out. She was a wonderful mother who was full of love, laughter, and strength, as she touched the lives of all who knew her. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Avory Mayenschein; brother, Tom Mercer; stepdad, Mark Rockwood, and her cherished dog, Charlie, who was a loyal companion. Diane's parents, Wayne Mercer and Victoria (Rockwood) Smith, preceded her in death. In addition to her family, Diane's work family was particularly important to her, reflecting her commitment to her career and the meaningful relationships built along the way. In her leisure time, Diane found pleasure in traveling, having visited all around the country with a chai latte in hand. She had a lifelong passion for health and fitness, always striving to take care of herself and others through mindful living and wellness. At Diane’s request, her family will be holding a private Memorial Ceremony. To honor her memory, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, whose kindness and support meant so much to her family.
