Elsie F. Perry

Elsie F. Perry, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2025, in Fairborn, at the age of 89. Born on August 22, 1935, in West Liberty, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Ora and Etta (Cantrell) Bolin.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Rick) Cook; son, Timothy Perry; and a loving grandmother to her grandchildren: Crystal (Joey) Hoagland, James Perry, Kristie Perry, and Sumer Kroh. Her legacy extends to several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Susan (Gene) LeGear; as well as extended family and friends.

Throughout her life, Elsie embraced her interests with passion. She had a keen love for cleaning and was known as a "saver," always finding joy in the little things.

Elsie's life was preceded in death by her husband, James B. "J.B." Perry, and her two sons, Jimmy and Tom; sister, Zelda; and brother, Edison.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 11, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Joe Hoffman officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Entombment will follow at Byron Cemetery.
