James Albert Bryner

James Albert Bryner, Age 77, of Fairborn, Ohio passed away on May 4, 2025. He was born March 11, 1948, in Titusville, PA, the son of the late Homer Lester “Dutch” and Doris Arlene (Tracy) Bryner. Jim graduated high school and joined the U.S. Air force, serving from June 26, 1967-June 30, 1987. After retiring, he was employed at the Wright-Patterson AFB Home and Garden center until his second retirement.

He loved golf, bowling, gardening, yard work and his family. He was a longtime member of VFW and American Legion.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Charles Bryner; two nephews, Charles and Michael Bryner.

Jim is survived by brother Bill (Sherry) Bryner of OK; nephew and nieces Bill (Kim) Bryner, Tammy (Lonnie) Gates, James (Trish) Bryner, Traci (Willie) Kennedy, David Bryner all of Arkansas; great-nephews and nieces, Matt Bryner, James (Amy) Bryner, Krista (Dustin) Guess, Lance Allen, Kyle (Merideth) Gates, and Blake Hawkins. great great-nephew and nieces Beau, Harper, Matthew, MadiLynne, Moriyah, Malachi, MontaRay, Melody. Conner, David, Ethan and Sophia. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Tuesday May 13, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at the Byron Cemetery, 3256 Trebein Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating.
