James R. Egts

James R. Egts, age 80 of Riverside passed away January 1, 2024.  He was born January 16, 1943 in Xenia, the son of the late Sylvester and Caroline (Sikora) Egts.  James served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and followed with employment at Reynolds and Reynolds.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going to the range and spending time with family.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Egts.  James is survived by his loving wife, Georgia; two step-children, Alan (Stephanie) Sells, Deborah Brunner; grandchildren, Michael Morris, Heather Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Noah, Eligah and Jacob Ross.  A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday January 19, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Dayton National Cemetery, Chaplain David Parker officiating.
