Jerry L. Brewer

Jerry L. Brewer, age 89 of Fairborn passed away August 24, 2026. He was born November 4, 1936 in High Point, North Carolina, the son of the late Thomas and Beulah (Silcox) Brewer. Jerry’s family moved to Williamsburg, Kentucky in 1938 and he graduated from Williamsburg High School in 1955, where he was a part of the Army ROTC. He went on to serve his country in the U.S. Air Force and the Air National Guard, retiring after 20 years of service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill Hoffercamp, Tom Brewer, Fred Brewer; and sister, Betty Buckalew. Jerry is survived by his wife, Iola “Rusty” Brewer; four children, Timothy Brewer, Tracy (Todd) Alexander, Donna (Patrick) Davis, Sharon (Christopher) Larson; five grandchildren, Samantha Brewer, Ryan Alexander, Conner Lewis, Adam Larson, Amber Larson; as well as extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Monday August 31, 2026 at 12:00 noon at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Chris Tannreuther officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service. Private interment will be held by the family at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton.
