John B. Jenkins

John B. Jenkins, aged 77 of Bath Township, OH passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026.

John was the first of four children, born on November 20, 1948 in Dayton, OH to the late RC and Mary (Kochert) Jenkins.

John was a graduate of Fairborn Baker High School in 1967. He worked in the family business, Jenkins Pump Service, with his parents and eventually took over the business until he retired. John drilled wells and provided water for many families in the area.

John was a faithful Catholic his entire life. He was a member of the St. Michael the Archangel Family of Parishes. He had many role models in his life. His parents taught him to work hard, help others, and showed him the importance of faith.

John enjoyed sharing memories of trips to Oldenburg Indiana visiting his aunts who entered the community of the Sisters of St. Francis. He had two great-aunts and two aunts who preceded him in death and one cousin who is currently at Oldenburg.

John was preceded in death by his parents RC and Mary Jenkins, and a sister-in-law Susan Jenkins.

John is survived by his three siblings; Judy Jenkins of Beavercreek, Russell Jenkins of Beavercreek, and Lawrence (Debra) Jenkins of Fairborn, seven nieces and nephews; Brian (Sherry) Jenkins, Jennifer (Doug) Sparks, David (Brandy) Guinaugh, Angela (Ryan) Dawes, Amy (David) Egge, Aaron (Tiffany) Jenkins, and Patrick (Kaitlyn Ryan) Guinaugh; 15 great-nieces/nephews; five great-great-nieces/nephews and numerous cousins and friends.

A funeral mass and visitation detail is forthcoming.
