Joy A. Colley

Joy A. Colley, age 89 of Fairborn passed away January 29, 2024.  She was born October 16, 1934 in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late John and Alma Toth.

Joy earned her Master’s Degree in education and served her career as a teacher at Five Points Elementary with the Fairborn City Schools, retiring after 25 years of service.  She enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; and siblings, Kenny Toth, Conrad Toth, and Eva Carver. Survivors include three children, Mark Colley of Houston, TX, Michael Colley of New Port Richey, FL, Sean Colley (Kathy Chambers) of Fairborn; granddaughter, Heather Colley; great-granddaughter, Emma; longtime friend, Peggy Colley; as well as nieces, nephew, other extended family, and friends.

A private graveside service will be held by the family.
