Juanita Faye Bowen

Juanita Faye Bowen, age 91 of Enon / Fairborn, passed away Monday April 22, 2024 at her residence.  She was born April 29, 1932 in DeMossville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Bright and Cecil (Wolfe) Belew.

Juanita was a charter member of New Covenant Baptist Church in Enon.  She was a faithful pastor’s wife and spent many years interpreting for the deaf.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth; a brother, Oakley Belew; and a sister, Audrey Doughman.  Survivors include her husband of almost 75 years, Clyde; a son, David H. (Vickie) Bowen of West Virginia; three grandsons, David, Tony, Ted; nine great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; as well as other extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday April 27, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the New Covenant Baptist Church, 454 E. Main St., Enon, Ohio, Pastor Ron Lee officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church.  Burial will follow at the Enon Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton -or- New Covenant Baptist Church.
