Keith Allen Walker

Keith Allen Walker, age 44 of Enon, passed away on Sunday August 30, 2026, at the Miami Valley Hospital. He was born on February 21, 1982, in Xenia.

Keith was a graduate of Springfield-Clark Joint Vocational School and Greenon High School, Class of 2000. He was an extremely hard worker and built his career with Time Warner, now Spectrum, where he served as an operations manager. He was a man who took pride in doing his job well and in meeting the demands of work with strength and determination.

Keith was an avid race fan, he enjoyed riding dirt bikes; and his favorite sports teams were the 49ers and the Reds.  Above all else, Keith’s proudest accomplishments were his children. He loved Peyton and Easton deeply and found real joy in supporting their youth baseball and softball programs. His devotion to his kids was steady and wholehearted, and the time he spent encouraging them, cheering them on, and standing beside them will be remembered with gratitude and love.

Keith is survived by his wife, Melissa, with whom he shared 13 years of marriage, and by their children, Peyton and Easton. He is also survived by his mother, Karen Byrum of Enon; his father, Don Walker (Annette Waldon) of Amelia; his paternal grandmother, Barbara (Sonny) Steele of Ripley; his sister, Robin Walker of Huber Heights; his brother, Derek (Sena) Walker of Fairborn. He also leaves behind his in-laws, Rhonda and Dan Ford of Florida, Greg and Jan Plummer of Waynesville; and his brother-in-law, Gabe Plummer of Centerville. Keith will also be deeply missed by his longtime best friend, Jon Smith of Springfield; as well as his nieces, nephews, other extended family, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his half-sister, Kristie Harris; his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Evelyn Buell; his paternal grandfather, Donald Walker; and his stepfather, Phil Byrum.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday September 8, 2026 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, where a funeral service will he held on Wednesday September 9, 2026 at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Sim Bowen officiating.  Burial will follow at the Enon Cemetery.

Keith will be remembered as a hardworking man, a devoted husband and father, and a loyal friend. His life was rooted in family, work, and showing up for the people he loved, and that memory will endure.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
