USAF CMSgt. (ret.)Larry T. Walker, a cherished family man and dedicated veteran, passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 69 after a short illness. Born in Warren, Ohio, on December 20, 1955, Larry's life was marked by his unwavering commitment to serving others and a profound love for his family.

Larry dedicated over 23 years of his life to the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. As a Personnel Manager and First Sergeant, he exemplified leadership and dedication, earning the respect and admiration of those he served alongside. His military service was a testament to his character and a foundation for the values he imparted to his family.

Beyond his military career, Larry was known for his willingness to help anyone in need. He possessed a generous spirit, always ready to lend a hand or share a kind word. Larry found joy in woodworking, creating beautiful pieces that reflected his craftsmanship. He had a passion for cigars, enjoyed farming, and looked forward to every opportunity to spend time with his beloved granddaughters.

Larry is survived by his three children, Larry (Trina) Walker II, Jacob (Britni) Walker, and Dr. Sarah (Josh) Hamblin; ten grandchildren: Kendall, Andrea, Madison, Scarlet, Kinlee, Dakota, Karma, Grace, Willow, and Avery, who brought immense joy to his life.

He is also survived by his siblings, John (Madonna) Walker, Joyce (Dave) Gibbons, and Susan Firmstron (Cary Mosher).

Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl "Lynn" Walker, and his parents, Joseph and Magdalen (Luich) Walker. His passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his spirit will undoubtedly continue to live on through the countless lives he touched.

A visitation will be held on February 28, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at 1:00 PM. at Belton Stroup Funeral Home, located at 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Chris Tannreuther officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Byron Cemetery.
