Mary E. Brown

Mary E. Brown, age 86, of Xenia, passed away February, 4, 2021 in Kettering, Ohio. She was born on December 28, 1934 in South Charleston, Ohio; the daughter of the late Floyd and Olive (Jenkins) Hayner. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Grover Brown; brothers, Floyd, Jr., Leroy, Robert; sister, Annie, whom she loved dearly; and step-children, Carol and Robert. Mary is survived by brothers, Donald and Bill; step-children, Richard, Vickie, and Roger; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren; and her only son, Lamont (Sandy) Carroll. Grover and Mary were in the real estate business since 1961 and her son, Lamont, will take over the business. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Road, Fairborn, OH 45324. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery where Mary will be laid to rest next to her husband.
