Mary Ann Cox

Mary Anne Cox, age 95 passed away May 18, 2023 at Trinity Community at Fairborn.  She was born July 27, 1927 in Cherry Fork, Ohio, the daughter of the late Hubert and Mabel (Abbot) Stivers.  Mary graduated from Cherry Fork High School in June 1946.  She moved to Fairborn in August of 1957 and was a devoted housewife raising her family.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary and Neighborhood Service Center.  She enjoyed cooking, baking and quilting. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Barbara Jane (Stivers) Harover; and  brother Floyd Eugene (Bud) Stivers.Mary is survived by her husband Robert Cox; two children Jeff Cox, Cherie (Cox) Mayes (Todd); four grandchildren,  Nicky (Cox) Carson (Dustin), Brian Cox (Daniella), Kaylee (Mayes) Nowak (William) and Kelsey Mayes; seven great grandchildren , Lillian Boyd, Jay Long, Kylie Carson, Gavin Carson, Broughton Nowak, Charlotte Nowak and Alina Cox; and long time friend Jo Ann Roberts.

There will be a private graveside service by immediate family.
