Michael Anthony “Mikey” Lauderman, age 43 of Beavercreek, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Springfield Regional Hospital. He was born January 1, 1982, in Xenia, OH, the son of Michael Hicks and Alicia “Lisa” (Lauderman) Rohdenburg.
A devoted family man, Mikey cherished every moment spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren. His deep affection for his family also extended to his parents and grandparents, who held a special place in his heart.
Throughout his life, Mikey dedicated himself to his career as a cook, sharing his culinary talents at various establishments. He poured his passion into his work and brought joy to many through his meals.
Mikey had a spirited personality that drew friends and family close together. He was an avid football fan, with a particular enthusiasm for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Michigan Wolverines. His weekends often revolved around cheering for his favorite teams, enjoying the thrill of the game alongside those he loved. Long drives were another of Mikey’s cherished pastimes, where he found solace and adventure on the open road.
Mikey is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Michelle R. (Davis) Lauderman; two children, Courtney (Wesley) Emanoff, Harley Davis; seven grandchildren, Alainah, Adelynn, Lekahdem “Lee-Lee”, Cayden, Healey, Colson; mother, Lisa (Ted) Rohdenburg; father, Mike Hicks; three brothers, Shane (Chrissy), Ricky (Haley), Matthew; sister, Janet; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and close friends.
A memorial gathering will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, OH, 45324. Friends and family are invited to wear their favorite sports team jerseys—Go Blue!
