Priscilla Ann "Sunny" Strunk

Priscilla Ann Sunny Strunk, aged 81 of Cincinnati, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 3, 1945, in St. Joseph, Missouri, the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Rich) Long.

Throughout her life, Sunny was deeply passionate about her work, her family, and her faith. She was a long-time Respiratory Therapist, working alongside her husband. She worked for the Veteran’s Affairs and at clinics for the underserved; and was most proud of being a clinical instructor at Shawnee State. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Louis Lee Strunk. Sunny is survived by her daughter, Tieraney (Lou) Flores; seven grandchildren, McKenna, Luis Jr., Thomas, Maria, Curtis (Penelope), Melissa, Melena; brother, Alan (Sheri) Long; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family. 

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, June 15, 2026, at St. Gertrude Church, 6543 Miami Avenue, Cincinnati, OH, 45243. The family will receive visitors from 12:00 PM until the time of mass, Fr. Pachomius Walker, celebrant. A burial will be held at 1:00PM the following day, Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the Byron Cemetery, Fairborn, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Breast Cancer Research Foundation give.bcrf.org
