Richard A. "Rick" Masten

Richard A. “Rick” Masten, age 65 of Fairborn passed away November 15, 2024.  He was born February 15, 1959 at Wright-Patterson AFB, the son of the late Donald and Marie (Booth) Masten.  Rick graduated from Fairborn Baker in 1975. Rick served his country in the U.S. Army from 1983-1987 and followed with employment at Jet Express as a truck driver, retiring after 20 years of service.  He was a paid up for life member of the American Legion Post 200, Huber Heights as well as a member of Sons of American Legion (SAL) Squadron 200.  He was also a member of Post 444 Amvets Fairborn. Rick enjoyed war movies, reading vampire novels and helping his sister with projects.  He was a longtime avid Ohio State football fan.  He is survived by his sister, Susan Masten; brother, Curtis “Jim” (Victoria) Masten; as well as extended family and friends.  Private services to be held by the family.
