Scott Glenn Carpenter

Scott Glenn Carpenter, age 62 of Fairborn, passed away, peacefully, Tuesday, November 12, 2024, in the comfort of home. Scott was born June 19, 1962, in Xenia, Ohio, the son of Harold E. and Frankie J. (Jones) Carpenter.

Scott was a father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend to many. He was employed as a press printer at the Trans-Continental Communications for 20+ years. In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars, watching old western films, and spending quality time with all his grandchildren. In addition, Scott was a lifelong Cleveland Brown’s fan—looking forward to each new season with passion. Scott will forever be in our hearts.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harold E. Carpenter; beloved wife of 32 years, Leda (Hickman) Carpenter; and son, Jason Carpenter. Scott is survived by his mother, Frankie Carpenter; two children, Joshua “Josh” Carpenter, Melinda Carpenter; five grandchildren, Bailey, Bryce, Jason Jr., Freddy, Patrick Beasley; one great-grandchild, Mateo; three brothers, Darryl Carpenter, Jeff (Cheryl) Carpenter, Timothy Carpenter; loyal and loving cat, Boots; several nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.

A memorial gathering will be held from 6:00 P.M., to 8:00 P.M., Monday, November 18, 2024, at Today Church, 1190 Richfield Center, Beavercreek, OH 45430. Condolences may be made to the family at www.beltonstroup.com
