Shannon N. King, age 48 passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025 surrounded by her family.

She was born on October 19, 1977, in Dayton, the daughter of the late Gary and Kathy (Gareth) King. Shannon’s creativity flourished in her various hobbies, particularly in crafts, writing, hair and makeup.

She was an exotic animal lover, an artist, and a true admirer of nature. She loved writing songs, as well as dancing and singing with her daughters. Shannon is survived by her five daughters, Faith (Allen) Joo, Starla Allen, Serenity Allen, Gracie Allen, and Christianna Roden. Additionally, she is remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, who cherished her vibrant presence in their lives. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ralph and A. Muriel King, as well as her two sisters, Melissa (Missy) King and Sarah King. A service will be held on Tuesday December 30, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service.

Burial will follow at Cedarhill Cemetery.
