Teresa Marie Simons (Doolin) died in Fairborn, Ohio at age 90. She was born on January 6, 1936, in Dublin, Ireland.

Preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Philip M. Simons (1999), her parents Richard and Elizabeth Doolin (Murtaugh), her oldest son, Paul Leonard Simons (Olga) (2016), her sisters and brothers in Europe.

She is survived by her loving family, Colleen Smith (John), Michael Simons (Twila), Laura Herbert (Scott). Nine grandchildren, Branden Simons (McKenzie), Joshua Boggs (Katie), Michelle Meadows (Nathan), Sean Simons (Seirra), Stephanie Washington (Mack), Ashley Justice (Trey), Michael Herbert (Karenna), Aidan, and Simon Herbert. 13 great-grandchildren, Sawyer and Sorren Simons, Charlie and Grace Boggs, Sutton Simons, Lilly Meadows, Boyd Simons, Josephine Boggs, Laken Meadows, Eleanor Simons, Caleb Washington, Reverie Justice, and Sonny Simons.

She enjoyed travel between Europe and the U.S., cooking, gardening, reading, walking, and spending time with family and friends. She was a devote Catholic, a dedicated member of Mary Help of Christians Church, since 1968, active in Daughters of Isabella and Rosary Alter Society, serving on the Bereavement Committee, and volunteering for the Red Cross for Mary Help of Christians schools.

She will be remembered for her faith, warmth, humor, and devotion to family.

Teresa donated her body to Wright State University, Boonshoft School of Medicine, Anatomical Gift Program.
