Usaf Msgt. Dennis W. (Ret.) Gaudette

USAF MSgt. (ret.) Dennis W. Gaudette, age 74 of Fairborn, passed away Sunday January 28, 2018.  He was born October 26, 1943, the son of the late William and Doris (Cloud) Gaudette.  Dennis served his country in the U.S. Air Force, retiring at the rank of MSgt; he then followed with employment in civil service, retiring after 42 years of combined service.  Dennis enjoyed boating, fishing, and spending time with his grandsons.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor Marcou; father and mother-in-law, Norman (Eva) Graham; and a son, Dennis Gaudette, Jr.  Dennis is survived by his wife of 51 years, Julianne; a son, Douglas Gaudette; three grandsons, Ethan, Evan, Eli; a sister, Terri (Russel) Grant; as well as a nieces, nephews, and other extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday February 3, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Belton-Stroup funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Brandon Lenhart officiating.  The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service.  Burial with military honors will follow at Byron Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America, 5657 Rosebury Dr., Huber Heights.
