Victoria Lynn Linder

Victoria Lynn (Brown) Linder, age 75 of Fairborn, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the Soin Medical Center, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 8, 1951, in Dayton.

Victoria was a graduate of Fairborn Park Hills High School, Class of 1968. She was employed as a hairdresser for many years and devoted much of her adult life to being a stay-at-home mother. When her youngest children were in high school, she chose to return to school and earned her certificate as a medical office assistant. She later was employed as a chiropractic medical assistant with Beavercreek Chiropractic Clinic until her retirement in 2018.

She loved Christmas, snowmen, crafts, and shopping, but above all, Victoria treasured time with her children and grandchildren. Her warmth, care, and steady devotion to her family shaped the lives of those around her, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Victoria is survived by her daughter, Angel Ashbrook and her husband, Jim; her sons, Carlos Linder Jr. and his wife, Jessica, Jacob Linder and his wife, Elizabeth, and Jeremy Linder and his wife, Kim. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Ciara Cook and her husband, Branden, Luke Ashbrook and his wife, Emma, Wyatt Linder, Grace Linder, Katie Linder, and Jeremiah Linder; and her great-grandson, Landen Cook. She is also survived by her siblings, Richard Brown and his wife, Nola, Pam McCreary and her husband, Kent, and Roger Brown. She leaves behind a family who loved her deeply and will carry her memory forward with gratitude and love.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage until he passed away in 2016; her father, Grover Brown Jr.; her mother, Cora Mann Cole; her brother, Bob Brown; and her sister, Carol Wilson.

A funeral service will be held on Friday October 2, 2026 at 12:00 noon at the Victory Church, 2443 Valle Greene Drive, Fairborn, Pastor Derek Trenum and Pastor Bob Lemaster officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.
