William D. Drake, Sr.

William D. “Bill” Drake, Sr., age 49 of Fairborn passed away on October 14, 2026. He was born on January 1, 1977, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Ronald L. Sr. and Margaret (Miller) Drake. Bill will be remembered with affection for the simple pleasures that brought him joy. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed the familiar comfort of Waffle House coffee, the kind of everyday ritual that becomes part of a life well loved. In addition to his mother, Bill was preceded in death by his sisters, Shelli Weller and Robin Johnson. Bill is survived by his father; wife, Brandi; three children, William Drake Jr. ( Keanna-Mae Bachiller), Matthew Drake, Maci Drake; four siblings, Lisa (Gary) McClure, Ron Jr. (Debbie) Drake, Yvonne (James) Beckman, Scott Drake; brother-in-law, Steve Weller; as well as extended family and friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday October 22, 2026 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, where a funeral will be held on Friday October 23, 2026 at 11:00 am, Pastor Derek Trenum officiating. Bill will be laid to rest at Byron cemetery.
