Clint Adkins Obituary

Clint Adkins passed away peacefully at his home January 17, 2021 at the age of 95.  He was born October 7, 1925 in Morgan Co., Kentucky, lived and worked most of his adult life in Fairborn, Ohio.  He was a retired cement finisher with Union Local 109.  Clint is survived by his four children, Diane (Roscoe) Dillow, Jack Adkins, Barb (Joe) Cafarella, Pam Harris; eight grandchildren, Dwayne (Jeanie) Dillow, Chris Dillow, Mike (Kelsey) Cafarella, Dan (Amanda) Cafarella, Adam (Andria) Harris, Aaron Harris, Alex (Hayley) Harris, Andrea (Sean) Dailey; nine great-grandchildren, Bryson, Landon, Telly, Calvin, Tate, Collin, Beckham, Rhode, Hayes; brother, Charles B. Adkins, sisters, Bonnie Davison, Julia Brown; as well as many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; infant daughter, Tammy; sisters, Geneva Barker, Marie Adkins, Roberta Coffee; brother, Sherman Adkins; son-in-law, Garry Harris.  Though far from a perfect man, he worked hard all his life, loved his family and friends, enjoyed playing cards, going to “the Boat” with his son Jack, dancing and listening to bluegrass music well up into his 80’s.  A private family service will be held and a celebration of life is planned when it is safe to gather again, hopefully, summer of 2021.  Arrangements in care of Belton-Stroup Funeral Home.  Condolences may be made to the family at www.BeltonStroup.com.
