Danny Patrick Glynn

Danny Patrick Glynn, age 62 of St. Paris, passed away Saturday February 29, 2020 surrounded by his family.  He was born April 5, 1957 in Dayton, the son of the late Paul and Virginia (Scherbauer) Glynn.  Danny loved spending time with his family and friends, camping, grilling, dancing, having fun and enjoying life.  He liked working in the yard, gardening, watching football.  Danny was a great husband, dad, grandpa and brother, he loved all his family more than anything. He was employed at FedEx Freight for over 23 years.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Leslie Spears.  Danny is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Janet Glynn; five children, April (Jeremy) VanDyne, Krystal Burley, Amber Casey, Katie (Steve) Glass, Jerry Jr. (Lauren) Mendenhall;  thirteen grandkids that Danny adored, Cortney Floyd, Michelle Casey, Makenzie Casey, Ricky Casey, Victoria Casey, Cheyenne Mendenhall, Kyleigh VanDyne, Quin VanDyne, Brianna Floyd, Dylan Sigler, Tyler Glass, Landon Glass, Landon Davis; four siblings, Cindy (Tim) Gatchie, Sheila Johnson (Bill), Kenny Glynn (Karen); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  A celebration of life service will be held on Friday March 6, 2020 at 6:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Chaplain Rebekah Lorain officiating.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 until the time of service.
