David L. Weikel

David L. Weikel, age 74 of Fairborn, passed away January 10, 2022 at the Dayton VA.  He was born June 5, 1947 in Easton, PA, the son of the late Edwin and Dorothy (Sparks) Weikel.  David served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.  He enjoyed the outdoors, bike riding, hiking, swimming and walking the dog.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Weikel.  David is survived by wife, Betty; two daughters, Bernadette and Jennifer; two sisters, Beverly Haiges, Pam Davenport; as well as extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Friday January 14, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3080 Bell Dr., Fairborn, Bishop Kevin Ball officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
