Dee Ratliff

Dee Ratliff, age 75 of Fairborn, passed away Sunday November 7, 2021 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.  She was born March 8, 1946 in Findlay, Ohio, the daughter of the late Nelson E., Sr. and Elsie Jean (Wilkins) Decker. 

Dee became a licensed cosmetologist in 1980 and was employed at The Hair Company in the Enon area, retiring in 2015.  She was an avid bowler for 30 years and participated in many leagues and tournaments; she was highly skilled in beadwork; and she was a proud member of the Red Hat Society Beavercreek Chapter 6131. She loved her family and extended family unconditionally. She was very generous and had a soft spot in her heart for the innocent. She will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Decker; sister, Linda Hyden; and infant brother, Terry Decker.  Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Eldon; three daughters, Carol Jean (Jerry) Wilson of Fairborn, Helena (Marc) Cameron of West Chester, Lori Ratliff (Bud Hanson) of Fairborn; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Nelson “Ed” Decker, Jr., Roland Decker Doug Decker; a sister, Donna Mundorff; as well as  numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family, and many dear friends. 

A funeral service will be held on Monday November 15, 2021 at 12:30 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton -or- the Circle of Victory Cancer Awareness Walk which provides assistance to residents of Greene County.
