Obituary

Ellyn T. Schreiner, age 68 of Fairborn, formerly of Chicago, passed away April 14, 2020.  She was born December 12, 1951 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Flood) Schreiner.  Ellyn obtained her master’s degree in nursing and was currently employed with Crossroads Hospice.  She was past President of ASPMN; an educator for hospice; and a mentor to many people.  Ellyn was the matriarch of the family and everyone could count on her for anything, especially for family genealogy.  She was an avid Nascar fan; enjoyed scrapbooking; and was the best Aunt.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Scott Schreiner.  Ellyn is survived by three siblings, Mark (Mary) Schreiner, Karen (Jim) Kvidera, Nancy (Roger Dean) Ross; sister-in-law, Cheryl Schreiner Wallace; nieces and nephews, Christie Faymonville and her children Zoe and Zach; Joey (Tammy) Schreiner and their children, Kylee and Mya; Scott Christian; Erin (Leroy) Hamp and their children, Scarlett, Tristian, Skylar, Tyrus, Selah;  Jessie (Johanna) Schreiner and their daughter Grace; as well as 29 loving cousins and extended family.  A memorial service will be held at a later date in Fairborn and Chicago.
