Emiko K. "Amy" Cole

Emiko K. “Amy” Cole, age 86 of Fairborn, passed away Saturday July 11, 2020.  She was born April 29, 1934 in Wajima, Japan, the daughter of the late Kenzo and Taka (Kita) Kawayachi.  Amy enjoyed cooking, sewing, and especially spending time and care for her family.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie; and two brothers.  Amy is survived by two sons, Alex (Karen) Cole, Jerome (Susan) Cole; four grandchildren, Brandi Rogers, Megan (Thomas) Martin, Ashley (Chris) Heston, Monique Cole; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Yukiko (Dave) Lauderbach, Yoshkoi Karle; as well as extended family.  A visitation will be held on Thursday July 16, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, Fairborn, where a funeral service will be held on Friday July 17, 2020 at 10:00 A.M., Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating.  Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery.
