Eunice Teen Glidewell, age 90 of Fairborn, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023. She was born September 1, 1932, in Bulan, Kentucky, the daughter of the late David and Harriett (Godsey) Miller.

While serving, she met her loving husband James, also in the Army, outside of William Beaumont General Hospital in El Paso, TX. While overseas she was assigned to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), in Paris, France where she attained the rank of Corporal. She also worked at the Pentagon in Washington D.C., and Wright Patterson AFB as a civil servant.
Teen’s greatest pride was in her family where she set the standard and passed on to others how to lead a life well lived. She was the family matriarch and was wise, kind, gentle, generous, selfless, unassuming, loving and always brought a smile to everyone’s face when she graced a gathering of loved ones with her presence. She enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with her family and close friends and was always there for them when needed. She never turned anyone away and donated to every charity that asked.
