Janet Carchedi

Janet Carchedi, age 78, of Fairborn, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023. She was born February 10, 1944 in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of Dale and Margaret (Dolan) Baker.

Janet was an active member of Mary Help of Christians Church, serving in several ministries, and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella. In addition, Janet was a lifetime volunteer at Children’s Hospital in Dayton.

In addition to her parents she was preceded by two brothers, Joseph, Paul; two sisters, Delores and Ruth. Janet is survived by her husband of 58 years, Frank Carchedi; sons, Frank Jr. (Michelle) Carchedi; Joseph (America) Carchedi; grandsons, Thomas Carchedi, Nicolas Carchedi; granddaughter, Michelle Carchedi.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 27, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at the Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, 954 N. Maple Ave., Fairborn, Fr. Ambrose Dobrozsi, celebrant. The family will receive friends in the gathering space of the church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of Mass.
