Jessie Grace Cochran

Heaven is rejoicing.  Jessie Grace Lemaster Cochran 89 of Fairborn Ohio went home to be with the LORD Wednesday November 9, 2022 surrounded by family.  Grace was born March 3, 1933 in Johnson County Kentucky, the daughter of Plennie and Anna Tackett Lemaster.  Grace is preceded in death by her beloved husband  of 67 years, James Edward Cochran Sr, her parents, a daughter Janice Carol Cochran, grandson Tommy Copfer Jr, great grandson Cameron Panetti, daughter-in-law Brenda Cochran, brothers Wallace Franklin Lemaster, James Everett Lemaster, Johnnie Lemaster and Garland Lemaster, sisters Roberta McCarty, Irene Auxier, Jeanette Lemaster and Darlene McKenzie.  She is survived by son James Edward Cochran Jr, daughters Anita Gail (Don) Dunaway, Patricia (Bob) Julian, Sue (Eric) Kleinhans and Katherine (Dennis) Cordell, Grandchildren Brad (Allison) Dunaway, Rodney Dunaway, Marie (Mark) Austria, Rachel (Donny) Sherlock, Jared Plemmons, Greg (Jaymi) Cordell, Jonathan (Marianne) Mullet, Jason Cordell, Amanda (Thomas) Panetti, Andrea (Darryl) Chambers, Ashley (LE Cline) Plemmons, Jennifer (Adam) Ingle, Jeannine (Clint) Probst, Jason Julian, Jessica (Brian) Erdas, and Tony Cochran, sisters Joanne (Burt) Blanton and Lillian Lemaster, sisters-in-law Judy Lemaster and Valeeta Lemaster. 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren
Grace loved God, her family and her many friends.  She would help anyone and give them anything she had. She was a great cook.  She loved to play in the dirt and she grew lots of flowers and vegetables.  She loved to travel to the Smokey Mountains, the Beach and to Amish Country.  She also enjoyed sewing, quilting and crocheting and shared these finished projects with her friends and family.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 12:00 noon at the Miami Valley United Baptist Church, 660 W Hyde Rd, Yellow Springs OH,  Visitation will be held on Sunday 4:00-7:00 pm also at the church.  Flowers can be sent directly to the church.
