Joseph Brian Griego

Joseph Brian Griego, age 50 of Fairborn, passed away Monday evening, December 28, 2020, at the Soin Medical Center.  He was born April 19, 1970 in Xenia, Ohio, the son of Daniel and Patsy (Russell) Griego.  Joe was employed for the majority of his working career as General Manager for O’Charley’s restaurants.  His hobbies included golfing, fishing, trips to Florida, and was a huge music fan - particularly Pink Floyd, Zac Brown and 311.  He also loved spending time with family, friends, and his dog Keebler and was an avid Denver Broncos fan.  Preceded in death by a brother, Donald Griego; and brother-in-law, Brian Malone.  Survivors include his father, Daniel (Ruth) Griego of South Carolina; his mother, Patsy Griego of Fairborn; a sister, Sheryl Malone of Yellow Springs; stepsister, Larissa Pitts of Minnesota; nieces, Katie (Tyler) Slone, Emily (Ryan) LeMay; great-nephews, Braxton Slone, Bodhi LeMay; great-nieces, Blakely Slone, Slater LeMay; as well as many other extended family and many friends.  A memorial service will be held on Tuesday January 5, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
