Kathleen "Kathie" Pratt

Kathleen “Kathie” Pratt, age 66 of Fairborn, passed away Monday December 30, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born June 2, 1953 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Jesse and Peggy (Duty) Vance.  Kathie was a member of First Church of God Tabernacle and was very involved in the church.  She enjoyed knitting, singing and spending time with family.  In addition to her family she was preceded in death by a half-sister, Mary Lynn Colton.  Kathie is survived by her husband, Dewey Wayne Pratt; three children, Christy (Shawn) McLaughlin, Amy (Jim) Dagnan, David Pratt; five grandchildren, Jared (Savannah) McLaughlin, Taylor McLaughlin, Alicia (Cody) Davis, Ashley Dagnan, Justin Dagnan; two great-grandchildren, Landen, Layla; four siblings, Judy Vance, Jesse Jr. (Gayla) Vance, Danny Vance, Theresa (Elwood) Smith; as well as nieces, nephews, and extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Friday January 3, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Church of God Tabernacle, 1635 Montgomery Ave, Fairborn, Pastor Lowell Lay officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
