Kenneth K. Lovejoy, Sr.

Kenneth K. Lovejoy, Sr., age 89 of Fairborn, passed away July 12, 2020 surrounded by his family.  He was born March 13, 1931 in Fairfield, Ohio, the son of the late Charles and Ida (Williams) Lovejoy.  Kenneth served his country during the Korean War and was enlisted in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force; and followed with employment at Navistar, retiring after over 30 years of service.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy; and eight siblings.  Kenneth is survived by his wife, Mary Lovejoy; a son, Kenneth II (Peggy) Lovejoy; daughter; granddaughter, Catherine Lovejoy; as well as extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Friday July 17, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Buck Smith officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.  Condolences may be made to the family at www.BeltonStroup.com.
