L. Harold Gevedon

Lasker Harold Gevedon, age 93, of Fairborn, Ohio passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on Wednesday, November 15, 1927 in Grassy Creek, Kentucky; the son of the late Estill and Dora Gevedon. Along with his parents, he is proceeded in death by five sisters, Justine Gevedon, Maureen Strietburger, Audra Gevedon, Genoa Peyton, and Edra Laws; and two brothers, James and Estill Gevedon, Jr. Harold is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Pauline (Perkins) Gevedon; his two daughters, Kathy (Roger) Hall of Cape Coral, Florida and Rebecca Columbia of Cincinnati, Ohio; six grandchildren: Dawn Keith, Trey (Mizzy) Burger, Forest Trey Hall, Heather (Will) Kinney, Dusty (Michael) Embury, and Sarah Jane (Joe) Fontanez; nine great-grandchildren, Rinnah and Alden Kinney, Lily Cate and Laurel Embury, Amy and Merrick McClure and Sami Fontanez, and TJ and Tyler Burger; one sister-in-law, Marie Gevedon; and many loving nieces and nephews. May his memory be a blessing to us all. A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 12 PM at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Road, Fairborn, Ohio 45324 with Tim Holly officiating. Family and friends may visit from 11 AM until the time of service.
