Nancy Rae Schurr, age 86 of Fairborn, passed away Thursday September 9, 2021 at Wright-Patterson AFB Medical Center. She was born June 16, 1935 in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy (MacDougall) Murphy.
Nancy was employed in Fairborn at Langs Chevrolet, then Jack Huelsman Auto Mall, retiring after many loyal years of service.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her second husband, Harry Schurr; son, Robert W. Klingensmith; great-grandson, Lincoln J. Klingensmith; and a sister, Gloria Richards.
She is survived by two children, Jeffrey L. (Donna nee Mosier) Klingensmith of Harrison, OH, Cheryl L. (Walter) Matuszewski of Fairborn; daughter-in-law, June Ann Drew Klingensmith of Centerville, OH; eight grandchildren, Robin (USMC Capt. James) Wynn, Nathanial (Heather Huber) Klingensmith, Jennifer Matuszewski, Lori (Adam) Sellet, Douglas Matuszewski, James (Gwen) Klingensmith, Lisa (Kyle) Owens, Jennifer (Matthew) Hulsey; 13 great-grandchildren, Evan, Logan, Ethan, Emma, Brooklyn, Julia, Levi, Lucas, Mason, Olivia, Dylan, Tyler, Greenlee; a niece, Pam (T.J.) DelaPena; two nephews, David (Donna) Richards, Scott (Michelle) Richards; as well as other extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday September 14, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday September 15, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at the Mound Hill Cemetery, 533 W. Main St., Eaton, Ohio. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society.
