Olando “Fuzz” Carroll, age 92 of Fairborn passed away March 22, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 31, 1929 in Bullcreek, Tennessee, the son of the late Nelson and Vina (McGhee) Carroll. Olando was retired from DAP Global Incorporated as a forklift operator after 55 years of service. He enjoyed hunting out west, landscaping, and bluegrass music. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Nadine; and sister, Beatrice Patton. Olando is survived by son, Denny (Sandy) Carroll; daughter, Sharon (Craig) Myers; eight grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; four siblings, Neva June Illuzzi, Faye Austin, Donald Ray Carroll, Cloene Gaspard; as well as nieces, nephews, extended and bluegrass family. A graveside service will be held on Thursday March 31, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Byron Cemetery, Bob Lemaster officiating, with George Wright singing, Go Rest High On That Mountain. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in memory of Fuzz.
