Robert J. Carder

Robert J. Carder, age 89 of Centerville, passed away Wednesday August 14, 2019 at the Dayton VA Hospice.  He was born September 26, 1929 in Dayton, the son of the late John C. and Mary Helen (Brandenburg) Carder.  Robert served his country during Korea in the US Army Reserve and was employed as a computer analyst with NCR from 1958 until retirement in 1994.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Marybelle in 2014; a brother, Eugene; sister, Marylou; and daughter-in-law, Laura.  Survivors include six children, Pam Roseman, Michael (Margaret) Carder, Cheryl Carder Hall, Kathleen (Darrell) Cottrell; Steven Carder, Thomas Carder; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; as well as other extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Monday August 19, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.  Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Dayton VA Hospice -or- Hospice of Dayton.
